Myanmar Health Sector  Coordinating Committee (M-HSCC) was established in October 2008 to oversee the national response related to the three diseases of HIV, malaria and tuberculosis and coordinate the efforts of all partners.

In relation to the Global Fund for AIDS, TB and Malaria (also referred to as ‘the Global Fund’, or ‘GFATM’), the M-HSCC is mandated to develop and submit grant proposals to the Global Fund, and to provide effective grant oversight and support the implementation of grants that are funded by the Global Fund.

18th M-CCM Meeting

18th M-HSCC meeting was held at Ministry of Health, Nay Pyi Taw from 10:00 am to 12:10 pm on 3rd April 2013.
- Three proposals for additional funding were submitted to the Global Fund on October 2012
- Global Fund Round 9 Phase II proposals were submitted on September 2012
- The M-HSCC Secretariat budget was submitted to the Global Fund on January 2013
- The second oversight visit was conducted in 7-9 January 2013
